Rabbi Ahron b. Rabbi Tzvi Hirsh of Opatow. Kesser Shem Tov, teachings of the Baal Shem Tov, collected from the published works of his principal disciples. One of the earliest published collections of the Baal Shem Tov’s Torah thoughts.
Approbations of Rabbi Menachem Mendel Horowitz of Lesko, Rabbi Shlomo of Karlin, Rabbi Avraham Moshe of Przeworsk and Rabbi Moshe Tzvi Hirsh Meisels.
Rabbi Ahron b. Rabbi Tzvi Hirsh of Opatow, the compiler of this work, was one of the most important chassidic writers in the early period, and served as Rosh Beth Din of Opatow under the rabbinate of Rabbi Avraham Yehoshua Heshel of Opatow - author of Oheiv Yisrael.
