Rabbi Chaim Tzvi Teitelbaum (1881-1926), son of Rabbi Chananya Yomtov Lippa – author of Kedushas Yomtov and Rabbi and Rebbe of Sighet, and son-in-law of Rabbi Shalom Eliezer Halberstam, Rebbe of Ratzfert. Rabbi Chaim Tzvi was renowned for his Torah scholarship, saintliness and modesty, and succeeded his father as Rebbe of the Chassidic dynasty of Sighet and as Rabbi of the town at the age of 24. He led his community and followers with great devotion and they were all deeply distressed at his sudden passing at the age of 45, while visiting Kleinwardein. Author of Atzei Chaim.
