Two large photographs from the early days of the State of Israel.
1. Elazar Kaplan at the signing ceremony of the Declaration of Independence signs the scroll next to Ben-Gurion. According to Zeev Sherf , Kaplan was one of the four voters in the People's Administration against the declaration of independence on May 14, 1948, although some historians disagree and claim that there was general agreement on the declaration of the state and the vote was on another issue. Kaplan [1891-1952] was the first Minister of Finance of the State of Israel. Size: 40x25 cm. Peeling paint on the right and bottom left. moderate condition.
