Breslau 1839. Only edition.

Rabbi Avraham Dov of Avritch (1760-1841), son of Rabbi David - the Maggid of Chmelnik, and son-in-law of Rabbi Nassan Natta of Avritch – a disciple of the Baal Shem Tov. Rabbi Avraham Dov was a disciple of Rabbi Menachem Nachum of Tchernobil and of his son Rabbi Mordechai of Tchernobil, as well as of Rabbi Levy Yitzchak of Berditchev. Succeeded his father in Chmelnik before being appointed Rabbi in Avritch to succeed his father-in-law. Rabbi of Zhitomir (1825). His love for Eretz Yisrael brought him to settle there in 1833, and he became recognised as head of the chassidic community in Tzefas. His fame spread after the miraculous protection experienced by those standing close to him during the famous Tzefas earthquake of 1837. He passed away during a time of plague, saying that he would atone for the community and stop the plague. Author of Bas Ayin. Growing numbers pray at his grave and report miraculous response to their prayers.
