A complete copy of the Zhitomir Machzor for Rosh HaShana and Yom Kippur, K'minhag Lita, Reisin and Poland. Zhitomir, 1853.
This 1853 edition is rare and bibliographically unknown; it is not listed by Vinograd and not found in the National Library of Israel.
Interestingly, on the title page it is written that it was printed by the "Honorable Partners" – Shapiro Brothers. Such a statement ("honorable") is seemingly not found on other Sefer printed in Zhitomir.
In overall very good condition, printed on high-quality thick paper. Stains on some pages. Small tear on the last leaf, causing minor loss of letters. New modern binding.
