Maaseh Rav – Third Edition – False Imprint
Maaseh Rav, practices of the Gaon of Vilna, by R. Yissachar Dov Ber, posek in Vilna. "Zhovkva, 1808" [Lviv? after 1833]. Presumably third edition.
The imprint on the title page reads: "Juda Meyerhoffer 1808 in Zolkiew". The date is unquestionably false, since the title page mentions the author as rabbi of Vilna, a position he received only in 1817. The place of printing may also be false. This edition was printed leaf by leaf after the Lviv 1833 edition (which was an earlier version of this composition, see previous item).
