Sefat Emet. London, 1879. Polemic Opposing "Michael who Became Samael"

Sefat Emet - 'Know that his words are neither moral nor intellectual; they are the language of deception.' Polemic book by Rabbi Yosef Cohen-Tzeddek. London, 1879.

Criticism of a Chassid who became a maskil, the renowned author Michael Frumkin Radkinszohn, who engaged with the author in dispute. Each one accuses the other of fraud and deception in his books. Rabbi Cohen-Tzeddek writes as follows: "Michael, with the voice, assembles gatherings to destroy vineyards. His grievous compositions are written cunningly to deceive Chassidim and defraud maskilim. Know that the one with six wings has two heads and is two-faced, he is the lead voice ..."

Refer to the Hebrew catalog text for brief biographies of Rabbi Yosef Cohen Tzeddek  and the maskil Michael Levi Frumkin.
