Ancient Greece city coins > Phoenicia (Lebanon) > Sidon > Abdashtart (Straton) I., circa 365-352 BC: AE 1/4 Shekel (13.5 x 14.75mm, 3.35g), appears dated RY11 (355 BC - 1 vertical bar above the galley); diademed head of Abdashtart facing right / Phoenician pentakonter galley facing left with date above (single "|" date mark partly visible). References: Elayi & Elayi type IV.2.7.b, 1471 var. (D-/R4 [unlisted obv. die]), Betlyon 33, Rouvier 1121, BMC 60; medallic alignment at slight rotation; GF/AVF, well struck on both side with good detail visible - right-centered on obverse & upward shifted on reverse, dark patina & earthen highlighting. Rare.
