Great Revolt / First Jewish-Roman War (66-73 CE) > AE Pruta Year Three (68-69 CE) variant: obverse "Year Three" + amphora with thick rim & conical lid, two large handles - where right-hand side has interlinking chain device, from below the handle up to the lid; reverse "The Freedom of Zion" where word "freedom" is spelled with 4 letters. Reference: Hen-1363 but unlisted with chain link device; VF, well struck on both sides, if a little off center & exhibits good detail (rare on this issue); coin alignment; 16mm, 2.2g. Per Hendin, "less common than the second year issue [whose] ratio is estimated to be roughly 1 to 8... irregular issues of the third year are very rare". This design is not documented in Hendin, Meshorer or Kadman & Kindler.
