Roman Imperial coinage > Maximianus: AE Follis (28.5 x 27mm, 12.9g), Siscia mint, 301 AD; laureate head facing right & legend IMP MAXIMIANVS PF AVG / Moneta standing facing left holding scales in right hand and cornucopiae in left hand (veil so straight it looks like a downward sword) & legend SACRA MONET AVGG-ET CAESS NOSTR + mintmark SIS in exergue, letter Gamma at right of figure & star symbol below scales at lower left. General reference: RIC 134b; Choice mint state, almost perfectly centered, excellent strike with superb details + lustery silver-brown surfaces; medallic alignment.
