Ancient Greece > Syria > Seleucia > Antiochos II, 261-246 BC: AE 16 (3.95g, 15.5 x 16mm); laureate head of Apollo facing right / tripod at center with legend based on standard type BAΣIΛEΩΣ ANTIOXOY but here with apparent change of spelling in "BAΣIΛEΩΣ" + monograms on right & left, anchor device in exergue. References: SC 537c, HGC9 253b, S-1925; medallic alignment; choice VF/EF, well centered strikes on obverse & reverse, exhibiting much detail; glossy dark green patina.
