Literary, artistic and scientific journal under the editorship of N. V. Koretsky. Set, 24 issues. An elegant, richly illustrated magazine. Color and black-and-white images in the text and on inserts.

Saint-Petersburg joint-Stock company of printing business (Gerold). 1908, 546 p., many Fig. outside of pagination. Collected in one hardcover of the era, with the preservation of publishing covers, size 21 x 29 cm. Good condition. The binding is scuffed, some pages are torn, and the block is shaken by its own weight.

 No. 1 without a rear cover, № 6 lost invoice illustration with inserts, No. 19 invoice illustration with inserts falls (but in stock), No. 22 back cover and last leaf fall from the block.

"Awakening "-in the years of publication was the only two-week, " rare in elegance " literary, artistic and scientific magazine in Russia. Published in Saint Petersburg from 1906 to 1918 in the already renamed Petrograd.

The magazine was founded on the initiative of Nikolai Koretsky, who became editor-in-chief and later publisher.
