Handwritten on the title page by the Gaon Rabbi Yehuda Segal, a renowned Moreh Tzeddek in Warsaw, a disicple of the author the Beis Halevi, 'This Sefer has been given to me by the Gaon author as a gift' and with his handwritten signature: Yehuda Halevi Segal. 


In the body of the Sefer, a handwritten editing and correction. The copy before us is of the first edition and is the only one in the world that was given by the Gaon author himself. 


The Gaon Rabbi Yehuda Halevi Segal the son of the Gaon Rabbi Yehoshua, one of the important Moreh Hora'ah of Warsaw in the years before and during World War I, who left an indelible mark on the religious aspects of the city.  Passed away in 1923. His son-in-law was Rabbi Yehuda Hutner, the father of the Gaon Rabbi Yehoshua Hutner and the in-law of the Gaon Rabbi Zvi Yehuda Kook, the son of Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Hacohen Kook. 


88 leaves, 33 cm. dark leaves. Some aging stains. Old, non-original binding, slightly loose. Very good condition.
