Divrei Hayamim with the Rashi commentary and [Yalkut] Shimoni. Printed by Daniel Bomberg of Anvers in Venice. [Sections A-D].


[237] leaves, the last leaf in the copy before us is missing. 37 cm. 


In ca. 1515, Daniel Bomberg founded in Venice a printing house. He devloped new fonts amd for approx. 25 years printed about two hundred Hebrew books. In 1516, he printed two editions of the Torah, Chamesh Megilos and Haftaros, one with a translation and commentary, the other without additions. Later he printed the Bible, "Mikra'ot Gedolot", with a translation and commentaries by the Rishonim and comments of the Mesorah. The printing of the fourth and final volume of this edition, the copy before us, ended in December 1517. Seforim printed by Bomberg's printing house are of great historical importance. 


Vellum binding, aging stains, the spine is partly falling apart and some of the leaves are detached, moth holes, the last leaf is missing, fair-good condition.
