Chidushei Halachos Maharam Schiff (on tractates: Beitza, Baba Metiz'ah, Ketubot, Chulin, Gittin), first edition, Hamburg, 1737-1741.

Old ownership notations on the first leaves of the Sefer: "ר' זלמן פ"פ", "וואלף בן ר"ה זלמן פראנקפורט אלטונה". In addition, an erased stamp containing the words "Agudas Yisroel".

The Gaon Rabbi Yisroel Meir ben Rabbi Yaakov Schiff (1605-1641) one of the greatest Mefarshim of the Shas of all times, Rosh Yeshiva and Rav in Ashkenaz. Was renowned for his great sharpness, his learning method being that of Pilpul. Authored many compositions on Talmud, Halacha and Kabbalah; however, most of them were burnt or lost. He used to write down a summary of his lessons to the students of the yeshiva on the entire Talmud and their remnants are his innovations before us (titles "Beshem Chidushei Maharam Sciff") on part of 11 tractates of the Bavli Talmud, which today are printed in the common editions of the Bavli Talmud and are taught as part of the Seder of studying the tractate.
