(1905 - 1981) Nazi German architect and Minister of Armaments and War Production, convicted of war crimes at Nuremberg. T.L.S. on his personal letterhead, 1p. 4to., Heidelberg, July 12, 1971, answering the questions of a researcher. In part: '...The presidential Chancellery of the Fuhrer and Reich Chancellors is...under the leadership of Minister of State Meissner [OTTO MEISSNER]. It was based in the larger Reich Chancellery, newly built in 1938, in a side wing...' Signed 'Speer' at the conclusion. Mailing folds, slightly trimmed at top, else fine.
