FELIX K. ZOLLICOFER
(1812-1862) Politician and Confederate General who led the invasion of Kentucky and was killed at the Battle of Mill Springs, making him the first C.S.A general to die in the Western Theater. Black ink signature on a 2 in. x 5.5 in. sheet, likely cut from a document. Tipped to a page beneath an affixed sketch of Zollicofer. Fine condition.
