ROBERT FROST
(1874 - 1963) American poet and four-time Pulitzer Prize winner, his work was characterized by homey language and easy verse forms, mainly concerning life in rural New England. A.L.S. 'Robert Frost', 1p. 8vo., Amherst, Oct. 12, 1935 to a 'Miss Mayer'. In part: 'There! Don't you think I did better for not having been hospitably treated beforehand? I'll bet you didn't listen; so you don't know. Never mind I like you both and I admire your school. Really Robert Frost'. Fine condition, double-matted with a photograph of Frost. From the estate of poet Rod McKuen (1933-2015).
