Rare Document. Conference Protocol of the Obuda Community Leaders, with Handwritten Signature of the Av Beis Din, Rav Moshe Mintz.
Lengthy, detailed, three-large-page-long document, specifying the various decisions made in the conference of the roshei kahal and leaders of Obuda, from year 5568 [1808]. With handwritten signature and authorization of Rav Moshe Mintz, Av Beis Din of Obuda.
Maharam Mintz (Moreynu Harav Moshe Mintz) [5510-5591] a disciple of Rav Meshulam Igra, would correspond with the Noda Biyehuda, who lavishly praised him (see Responsa Noda Biyehuda [Mahadura Tinyana], Even Haezer section 23, at the beginning and end of the answer). Served as rav of Obuda starting from 5550 for more than 40 years. Of his writings, Responsa Maharam Mintz was published (Prague 5587).
