Interesting Historical Document. Agreement Contract Regarding the Distribution of Funding from the Diaspora, Among the Tzefas Kollelim. 5641 [1881]
Agreement contract between the roshei kollelim of the Ashkenazic and Sephardic kollels in the city of Tzefas, regarding the method of receiving and distributing funding from the diaspora.
Signed on the document are well-known rabbonim and individuals from Tzefas during those days. Among them are:
Rav Shlomo Chazan- Av Beis Din of Tzefas; Rav Mordechai Segal- of the well-to-do men of the Upper Galilee and one of the founders of the first Hospital in Tzefas; Rav Moshe Charig- one of the roshei kollelim in Tzefas; Rav Dovid- grandson of Rav [Yaakov Dov Berish] Merriman and others.
