The first printing press in the Land of Israel was founded in Safed in 1577, was active until 1587, we know of six books which were printed in those years. After a 245 year break the printing press was re-opened, by Rabbi Yisrael Bak. The books printed in the first decade are considered rare and precious.
The edition before us was printed in Jerusalem, 1977, in 500 copies, 175 of which were distributed in Israel, and the rest in other countries.
The copy before us is not numbered.
