Remnants of Handwritten Leaves from the 14th and 15th Centuries – Mishneh Torah Le'Ha'Rambam with Ancient Handwritten Leaves
A. 11 handwritten leaves, most likely leaves from Moreh Nevochim Le'Ha'Rambam in Arabic, leaves of prayer and Bakashot,Yemen script. The 14th and 15th centuries (two different writers).
Condition: Most leaves are in good-fair condition, while some are in bad condition.
B. Mishneh Torah Le'Ha'Rambam, fifth book Sefer Kedusha, with "Maggid Mishneh" and "Kesef Mishneh". Venice, 1574.
First edition of the "Kesef Mishneh".
Lacking copy: before us are leaves 112-219. On the colophon it is written: "Tuesday Rosh Chodesh Tevet 5335".
Among the leaves of the book several ancient and early glosses in Yemen script.
Several leaves written in ancient Yemen script are glued to the cover of the book.
Condition: Good. Detached cover.
