At the beginning of the book is the signature and stamp of the Rebbe Rabbi Yehuda Yechiel Taub of Rozdol, Av Beit Din and Rebbe of Rozlo, the firstborn son of the Rebbe Rabbi Chaim Pinchas son of Rabbi Zvi Yehuda of Rozdol.
In addition, an inscription in the handwriting of his son, the current Rebbe Rabbi Menachem Mendel Taub (born in 1924) which testifies that the book "remains to me from my father's estate, I the small one Menachem Mendel". The Rebbe's stamps.
Additional unidentified signatures.
The Rebbe Rabbi Yehuda Yechiel Taub (1887-1937), his father's successor in Rozdol and Margareten, a righteous and holy man and a great Kabbalist. His books: "Torat Yechiel", "Padeh Avraham", "Lev Sameach HaChadash" and "Kitvei Yehuda". The remainder of his books were lost in the Holocaust. Six of his seven descendants were murdered in Auschwitz. Only his son Menachem Mendel Taub, who was later appointed as Rebbe, survived.
His father died in September 1935, and in his will wrote that "I command with a great doubled and tripled warning that my successor in the Rabbinate here in our city of Rozdol will be my son Rabbi Yehuda Yechiel, the crown of the Rabbinate of this city of Rozdol will be given to him as a complete gift, and so it shall be after my death, when the soul leaves then immediately you shall write an appointment letter for the Rabbinate of here, our city of Rozdol for my son Rabbi Yehuda Yechiel and the appointment letter shall be signed by all the residents of our city, may G-d bless them, from young to old, and when you shall take me into my study hall and place me close to the Holy Ark, and after they will do the aforementioned seven hakafot one trustworthy man will stand up and read the entire appointment letter before my coffin and the whole world will say to me we did your will and your successor in the Rabbinate is your son Rabbi Yehuda Yechiel".
Rabbi Yehuda Yechiel died less than two years after he was appointed as the Av Beit Din and Rebbe of Rozdol, and his successor was his famous son Rabbi Menachem Mendel, the Kaliver Rebbe of Rishon L'Zion-Bnei Brak-Jerusalem.
Condition: Good. A small number of leaves, including the title page, are detached. Slighty brittle leaves.
