A 9ct gold demi-hunter keyless pocket watch by Vertex, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds, blued steel hands, signed Vertex, replacement plastic glass detached, the 15 jewel lever movement signed Vertex and stamped VW, cuvette signed Vertex, stamped A.L.D and numbered 639150, case interiors with repeat numbers and stamp, outer case with blue enamel chapter ring, Birmingham hallmarks, 1937, case diam. 49mm
Wear commensurate with age, surface scratching and minor nicking to case, there is a dent to the case back and some further tiny dents, some enamel loss to the chapter ring. Dial with some light spotting and marking. As stated the watch has a later plastic 'glass' that is detached, this is cracked. Movement currently running though not tested for timekeeping, please note that Roseberys do not guarantee working order or time keeping of any automatic, mechanical, quartz or other timepiece.
