A 9ct. gold wristwatch by Vertex, the rectangular dial with luminous Arabic numerals, blued steel hands and subsidiary seconds, 15 jewel lever movement signed Vertex, case stamped Vertex Shockproof A.L.D. and numbered 99135 61785, Birmingham hallmarks, 1934, gilt winding crown, case width 22mm, to later leather straps
General surface scratching and nicking to case, some scratches to glass. Luminous hour markers are discoloured and deteriorating, dial with general discoloration / staining and marking, there is wear to area under edges of case. Some 'blueing' is deficient from hands. Gilt winding crown worn. Movement currently running though not tested for timekeeping, please note that Roseberys do not guarantee working order or time keeping of any automatic, mechanical, quartz or other timepiece.
