IVAN YAKUBOVSKY MARSHAL OF THE SOVIET UNION
(1912 - 1976) Marshal of the Soviet Union, twice made a Hero of the Soviet Union, distinguished himself at Stalingrad, Kursk, and Berlin. Serving as commander-in-chief of the Warsaw Pact from 1967 to 1976. Typed letter, 26 April 1972, congratulating comrade Kharchenko, Marshall of the Engineering Troops, to May Day. Signed in black ink at conclusion. Mailing folds.
