The Jerusalem Chamber of Commerce was the official body representing the merchants and business owners in Jerusalem and its surroundings. The bureau was founded during the Ottoman rule in 1908, after the conquest of the country by the British Mandate and the establishment of aliyahs, the bureau's activity increased considerably, and helped merchants of the three religions in the city establish and expand their commercial activities. With the establishment of the state, many businesses were added to the city with the help of the Chamber of Commerce and assisted in the development and expansion of the city and its economy.
