A MONUMENTAL CRUCIFIX FROM A CHURCH ICONOSTASIS Central Russian, early 19th century Tempera on wood panel. Finely executed with gold highlights. Frontal showing Christ on the Cross. The reverse showing Agony in the Garden, Christ Carrying the Cross, the Deposition from the Cross, the Entombment and the Resurrection. Partially restored. 126.3 x 70.7 cm.
