Rare and precious find! Sha’are Naftali. First edition, by the author of Simchat Chachamim. Stamped copy owned by The holy Rabbi Elazar HaLevi Rosenfeld of Oswiecim, the son-in-law of the holy Rabbi Divrei Chaim of Sanz.
The author, the Kabbalist Rabbi Naftali Katz (1640-1719) was one of the renowned Kabbalists of Europe. His tomb in Istanbul is a pilgrimage site to this day, for Jews from all over the world, who come to pray for his intercession in their favor.
