Manuscript on the ta’amei treifut. North Africa, 1926.
Complete manuscript, North African writing, with halachot of treifut. Colophon lists “the young Yosef…” as the scribe, ending in Av 1926. There is then a copying down of the laws of shechita, midrashim, and gemara. At the beginning are 6 pages of laws from Siman 586, Se’if alef (of the Tur/Shulchan Aruch) on the halachot of Shofar, as well as Siman 550, se’if alef, on the amount of hadas and the wrapping of the lulav for the 4 Species. Size: 13x21cm. Defects and stains, overall good condition.
Included are 2 pages in Yemenite handwriting not connected to this work, one is a copy of the Shabbat prayers from Nishmat until the middle of Yotzer Or, the other is a smicha letter for shechita and bedika.
