Blessing for marriage from Rabbi Yehoshua Crohn of Berdichev. End of the 19th/beginning of 20th century. Torn
Torn leaf containing a marriage blessing sent to a groom, pretty handwriting, with a rounded, stylish title in red ink. The content is half-missing, below is the inscription: “from Rabbi Yehoshua Crohn…”. He was the rabbi of Berdichev (in the Kielce district of Poland). He would sent handsome letters like this one in order to make a living (see a similar item of his in the Kedem Auction #37, 2 April 2014, item #207).
