Illustrated Passover Haggadah - Chasam Sofer
Illustrated Haggadah for Pessach. Hebrew and Hungarian. Signed by the editor, Dr. Leo Singer, and numbered (copy number 55). Possibly the first edition of this Haggadah. The Haggadah includes an image of the Jewish Sages in the form of Rabbi Akiva Eiger, Chasam Sofer, Ksav Sofer and Shevet Sofer. Published by Schlesinger, Wien. Austria, circa 1925. 64 pages. 13 plates in color. Approximately 23X31 cm. The cover is in average condition, worn cover, losses, tears, loose spine. The pages are in good condition, wear.
