5 issues of the magazine "Yiddisher Kultur" from the period of the establishment of the State of Israel, from the months of February to June 1948 (including the special edition of May 1948). The magazine was published monthly in New York and was written by the foremost poets and authors of the time: Bialik, I.L. Peretz and others. The issues before us deal expansively with the events which took place in Israel at the time, the underground resistance movements, the Haganah, and the establishment of the State, accompanied by photographs.
