Shamloy (Șimleu Silvaniei, Romania): Tuesday of Parshath Vayera 1931


One of the greatest rabbis of Transylvania before the Holocaust. He established a yeshiva for prize students and wrote many works including the four-volume responsa Lechem Shlomo. He was murdered in Auschwitz.
