Talmud Yerushalmi on Tractate Berachot and the entire Seder Zeraim, printed in Kapust at Yisrael Jaffe Press (the only part of the set printed in the end). Dozens of scholarly glosses and comments in early Ashkenazic script, apparently from the time of printing.


This Yerushalmi was privileged to receive rare approbations from the 'Defender of the Jewish People, " Rabbi Levi Yitzchak of Berdichev, author of Kedushat Levi, who writes: "I hereby decree ... that those who hear will be pleased and they will receive a blessing of goodness - these are the words of he who speaks in righteousness ... Levi Yitzchak ..." Alongside this is an approbation from Rabbi Chaim of Volozhin, author of Nefesh HaChaim and more.


Specifications: Berachot, Peah: 6, 6-45 leaves, Demai: 16 leaves, Kilaim: 18, Shevi'it, Terumot, Ma'asrot: 52 leaves: 13 leaves (the last page is numbered 12 twice) Challah: 11 leaves, Orlah: 10 leaves, Bikkurim 4 leaves (leaf 3 twice), three unnumbered leaves; the middle one is numbered 9). 33 cm.

Very fine condition, greenish paper, some of the glosses were cropped with the leaves, minimal perforations and aging stains. Elegant new binding.
