As you will be leaving Norway...I would like to...thank you...for your loyal service and for the comradeship. I'm aware of the tremendous difficulties the armed forces of the navy faced especially in the far north while under your command. I will therefore always be particularly grateful to you for the help given to me and my army. I wish you all the best for your personal well-being and remain in loyal comradeship with warm regards and Heil Hitler, your Dietl.' 2 pages, 5.75 x 8.25 inches, folds.
