JIMMY DOOLITTLE FDC
(1896 - 1993) American military general and aviation pioneer. He was awarded the Medal of Honor for personal valor and leadership as commander of the Doolittle Raid, a retaliatory air raid on some of the Japanese main islands on April 18, 1942. Signed FDC 'J.H. Doolittle' in blue ink, FDC Twentieth Anniversary of First St. Louis Air Mail Flight Oct. 4, 1911 - Oct. 4, 1931, St. Louis Chamber of Commerce Air Board. With: a second unsigned FDC. Two pieces.
