CUBAN MEDAL FOR VICTORY IN ANGOLA
The obverse shows the flags of Cuban and Angola embossed 'POR LA VICTORIA.' The reserve shows the Cuban shield with 'REPUBLICA DE CUBA - CONSEJO DE ESTADO' while the ribbon represents the colors of Cuba and Angola. The medal is 1.25 inches in diameter and is accompanied by a clasp in a plastic presentation case. The medal was instituted on 20 March 1989.
