The Hermes fashion house was established in the 19th century as a fashion house for saddles and travel veterans for the upper class (hence the famous logo - a duke's chariot led by a horse)
Over the years, the brand has expanded to design women's clothing, handbags, watches, and perfumes. In 1949 Hermes' first silk tie was born. It is quite likely that this is not the first tie, but according to the retro design - the tie is not from the last period either.
