Signed on the title Page by Rabbi Yaakov Yechezkiyahu Greenwald, Av Beit Din of Likov, Tzehlem, Banfi-Hunyad, and Pupa. signed at a young age while still in Chust.

 On Pages 78, and 80 there are light  corrections.

Also included is a postcard that was written to the Vayaged Yakov  Yaakov a Jew from Wietzen who was probably his student.

And a page with the Zmanim of Shabbat &  the time to take the Cholent to the baker in Pupa, on the reverse is Hungarian writing.

The holy Rabbi Yaakov Yechezkel Greenwald, the author of Vigad Yaakov, was born in 1882 to his father, Rabbi Moshe Greenwald, Av Beit Din of Chust, author of the Arugas Habosem

His father's student. Huddled in the shadow of the Admors: Rabbi Yechezkel Shraga Halberstam Av Beit Din of Shinawa. The Admor Rabbi Yissachar Dov Rokeach Av Beit Din of Belz and his son Rabbi Aharon Rokach Av Beit Din of Belz. The son-in-law of his uncle Rabbi Yisrael Menachem Braun Av Beit Din of Brezawitz. Still young, he was later appointed rabbi of the Likov congregation (in the Orshawa region of Carpatho-Russ).

In 1902 he has crowned rabbi of Tzahalim. There he established an important yeshiva and his name became known as one of the most important rabbis of Hungary. In 1923 he became Rabbi in Banfi-Hunyad & in 1929 he was the famous Rabbi in Pupa where his Yeshiva numbered several hundred disciples.

Passed away in 1941.
