Tri-Ang Post Nuclear Attack Military Ambulance Circa 1958
A quite macabre child's toy... During the "Cold War" the constant threat of an atomic bomb attack hung over Great Britain. At that time toy manufacturers often produced vehicles which mimicked the real life army fleet. This rare piece was modeled on an ambulance designed to treat post-attack survivors. Please see the "mushroom cloud" symbol on the cab doors.
