Manuscript written by Rabbi Yedidya Tiah Weil, Rabbi of Karlsruhe, regarding the life of his father, Rabbi Netanel Weil, author of "Korban Netanel".
Detailed description of his father's biography, from aged five when he was orphaned of his father, places where he learned, his travels and wedding. His order of Torah study while learning independently and when learning with disciples. Order of learning with his sons; he notes their names and the fact that each son was required to be an expert in one order of the Talmud. His private study of kabbalah, study during the night, and some information from his father's writings.

Rabbi Yedidya Tiah Weil (1722-1806) was the son of Rabbi Netanel Weil, author of "Korban Netanel". He was the Rabbi of Karslruhe and the entire Baden region, and was a prominent Torah scholar of the time. He authored the "Marbeh L'Saper" commentary on the Passover Haggada, but published it anonymously. He is mentioned in the responsa of the leading Torah scholars of the generation, such as the Noda B'Yehuda, Rabbi Akiva Eiger, the Chatam Sofer and others. Some of his novellae on the Talmud and Shulchan Aruch have been printed recently.
