A DIVISION ONE CHINESE REPOUSSE COPPER PICTORIAL BUTTON
1 Over 4" 19th century copper button depicting a Fabulous animal.
Here is a button that was found in new old stock from a Chinese factory that Alethe Allen had the opportunity to acquire the entire stock that had been in storage for over 100 years. These very cool examples are done in repousse (design punched from the back) copper.
Issued: DIVISION 1=PRE 1918 AND DIVISION 3 IS AFTER 1918
