Sergei Pavlovich Chubirko (1969). Graduated from St. Petersburg IZHSA named after I. Repin (2000), graduate school IZHSA named after I. Repin, student of Vasily Sokolov and Vasily Rudnev. Taught in China (2005-2008). Since 2007 he has been living and teaching in Florence. Completed a series of works commissioned by the Roman Catholic Church, including a portrait of Benedict XVI (2010). The works are in the collections of China, the USA and Europe.
