A letter with blessings for the new year. Stanislawow 1938.
Rabbi Eliezer Brandwein (1869-1943) known as the "Tzaddik of Burstein". Son of Reb Nochum and son-in-law of Reb Shmuel Shmelka Rubin from Sered [grandson of the Sar Shalom of Belz]. In 1915 after his father was niftar, he succeeded him as Burstein Rebbe in Stanislov. He survived the Stanislawow pogrom on Hoshana Raba 1943.
