A VINTAGE AFRICAN BAULE MATERNITY FIGURE
A hand-carved maternity figure, Cote D'Ivoire (Ivory Coast). The female figure is depicted sitting on a chair, on her head a high headdress with a comb, in her hands something like a child's toy, which she holds in front of the baby on her lap.
