By the Admor Rabbi Avraham Tversky—the Maggid of Trisk. 2 sections, divrei torah and drashot on the Torah and holidays, the book was printed during the author’s life and is known amongst chassidm as a segula book, just for having it in one’s home. As the Admor wrote, and which is present as a lithograph copy, signed in the introduction “…anyone who buys this book, it will be good for them all of their days.” Also in the introduction: “I hereby bless anyone who takes this book as great kindnesses will be attracted to him, and the G-d of Avraham will help you to fulfill all of your desires, your sons’, and your sons’ sons’…” The Admor Rabbi Avraham Twersky—the Maggid of Trisk (1806-1889) was the fifth son of the Rabbi Mordechai, the Maggid of Chernobyl, grandson of Rabbi David Lakes, student of the Ba’al Shem Tov, after his marriage he was accepted as the Maggid in Trisk, today in Ukraine. Known especially for having followed the ways of Rabbi Levi Yitzhak of Berdichov, to recommend for the good of all the Jewish people, and he would teach them advocacy (legal defense). He even hinted this in the introduction to this book: “With leniency and morality on the shepherds, I will shepherd and protect the holy sheep, my words have made a big impression upon the hearts of those hearing the truth, and many have returned to the fold.” On page 3 is printed a lithograph copy of the words of the author and his holy signature. First cover page of two in the first section is missing. Last page (36) in the first section is torn and missing. Page 112 in the second section is torn and missing. Rear binding is missing. Generally ok to good condition. Moth marks and light water stains.
