Letter by Rabbi Yaakov Yehoshua Heschil of Bolachov to his brother-in-law Rabbi David Moshe of G'vojiets-Sadigura. Alik, 1934. 


A postcard handwritten by Rabbi Yaakov Yehoshua Heschil of Bolachov, the son of the holy Rav Rabbi Shlomo Chaim of Bolachov, sent to his brother-in-law, the son-in-law of his holy father, Rabbi David Moshe of G'vojiets-Sadigura who eventually moved with his court to New York where he was active for many years being one of its important Admorim and one of the admired Admorim of the Ruzhin dynasty. 


On the margins of the letter, handwriting of the pious Rebbetzen Mrs. Malkah. 

The entire letter is in Yiddish and in it the Rebbe takes interest in the train ride and the behavior of the bridegroom that was with the, . Most of the letter was handwritten by Rabbi Yaakov Heschil and is signed by him. The last lines were handwritten by the Rebbetzen. 

Wriiten on an official postcard of the holy Rav of Alik. 


The Tzaddik Rav Rabbi Yaakov Yehoshua Heschil Perlov - the son of the holy Rav Rabbi Shlomo Chaim Perlov of Bolachov. Passed away at a young age in his father's lifetime, in Elul 1937. Was referred to by his father in his Siddur as one who assisted in its editing. 

The Tzaddik Rav Rabbi David Moshe of G'vojiets-Sadigura Vienna and eventually Borough Park, married the eldest daughter of Rabbi Shlomo Chaim Perlov of Bolachov. Their son, the Tzaddik Rav Rabbi Yitzchak Mordechai Shapiro was the only grandson of the Admor of Bolachov who survived the Holocaust. 


The postage stamp was ripped from the postcard. Fold marks, small tears along the fold line, stains. Good condition.
