Rabbi Yonatan Steif (1877-1954) was a Dayan in Budapest and one of the greatest Poskim in the USA after World War II. He was admired by Rabbi Moshe Feinstein, who said of him that he was "Gadol Ha'Dor".
Rabbi Steif first authored a commentary on the beginning of Bereshit, which was printed in the two volumes before us. First edition. Budapest, 1927. Rare.
At the beginning of the first volume appear the approbations of many rabbis, among them: Rabbi Yesha'aya Zilberstein, the Rebbe of Munkatch, Rabbi Chaim Elazar Shapira, Rabbi Kopil Reich and more.

Section A: on the first 34 verses of Bereshit. 13, 236 [4] pp.
Section B: on chapter 2 verse 4 until the end of Parashat Noah (the end of chapter 11). [2], 237-570 pp.
Condition: Excellent. Slight flaws in several leaves. Renewed bindings on top of the original ones.
