A DIVISION 1 PEARL INALYED JAPANESE SHIBAYAMA BUTTON
1 Medium size 19th century inlayed Shibayama button.
This is a late 19th century example of an 18th century art when Shibayama work was first introduced, however the buttons were not introduced until the late 19th century. This example is a very finely detailed one with inlayed tortoise and colorful pearl. Self shank.
